Finishing options
The Finishing tab shows print options related only to finishing equipment on the printer, and also image shifting to
compensate for finishing options.
These options override settings in Fiery ES Printer Setup but can be changed from Command WorkStation.
Delivery Option: Collate
The Collate print option allows you to specify how to output multiple-page/multiple-copy jobs.
•
Collate: Copies of a complete job are sorted as 1-N, 1-N.
•
Uncollate: Copies of a complete job are sorted as 1,1, 2,2, 3,3.
•
Offset collate: Copies of a complete job are sorted as 1-N, 1-N with offset stacking.
•
Offset uncollate: Copies of a complete job are sorted as 1,1, 2,2, 3,3 with offset stacking.
Note: This option is invalid if your job is sent to the Direct connection.
Note: The collation of Mixed Media and Variable Data Printing (VDP) jobs is handled differently. For Mixed Media
jobs, copies of a complete job are sorted according to finishing set. For VDP jobs, copies of a complete job are sorted
per record.

Delivery option: Output tray
The Output tray print option allows you to specify the output tray for the job.
Fold
Specify a fold style for the print job.

Fold: Tri-fold type
The Tri-fold type print option allows you to specify the number of pages to be tri-folded at a time.
The printer can tri-fold all pages together, each page one-by-one, or a specific number of pages.
Note: This option is available when Tri-fold is selected for the Fold option.
Fold: Tri-fold number
The Tri-fold number print option allows you to specify the number of pages to be tri-folded.
Note: This option is available when the Tri-fold type option is set to Page unit.
