Do one of the following:
For LPD printing, select Line Printer Daemon - LPD from the Protocol list, type the Fiery ES IP address or DNS
name in the Address field, and then type the print connection (print or hold) or published virtual printer name
in the Queue field.
For Port 910x printing, select HP Jetdirect - Socket from the Protocol list, type the Fiery ES IP address or DNS
name in the Address field. The Queue field can be left empty.
For IPP printing, select Internet Printing Protocol - IPP from the Protocol list and type the Fiery ES IP address
or DNS name in the Address field, and then type ipp/ followed by the print connection (print, hold, direct, or
name of virtual printer) in lowercase letters in the Queue field.
Note: The Fiery ES requires a queue name. If the Queue field is left empty, the default queue is used.
The IP address or DNS name appears in the Name field.
3 Choose Select Software from the Use menu.
4 Locate the printer manufacturer or model in the list, select the printer driver, and then click OK.
5 Click Add.
6 Specify the installable option settings in the installable options pane in the Printers & Scanners dialog box, and
then click OK.
The Fiery ES with its IP address appears in the list of printers.

Set up printing on a Mac OS X v10.11 client computer
After you have the Fiery ES printer driver installed, you must set up printing to the Fiery ES on a client computer
running Mac OS X v10.11. You can add the printer with the LPR, Port 9100 or IPP connection.
Set up the Fiery ES from the Print dialog box on a Mac OS X v10.11 client computer

Open a file in your application.
2 Select File > Print.
3 Select Add Printer from the Printer menu.
In the dialog box that appears, select a printer connection.
Set up the Fiery ES with Printers & Scanners on a Mac OS X v10.11 client computer
1 Select Apple menu > System Preferences, and then select Printers & Scanners.
2 Click the + button to add a printer.
