Paper type
The Paper type print option is used to specify the type of paper used for your print job.
For information about media types and paper specifications, see the documentation that accompanies the printer.
Slip sheets: Transparency interleaving
The Transparency interleaving print option allows you to print multiple transparency sheets separated by slip sheets.
Select Off to not print transparency sheets.
Select On to print multiple transparency sheets separated by blank, plain paper pages.
Note: This option is supported with Letter or A4 size plain paper or transparencies only.
Slip sheets: Interleave tray
Select an input tray for transparency interleaving.
Tray alignment
The Tray alignment print option should be selected when you need to adjust the image on the page to achieve
alignment on both sides of a page when printing duplex.

Mixed media
The Mixed media print option allows you to specify different media types, paper sizes, and paper source to use
within a print job.

Layout options
The Layout tab defines the imposition of the print job and the booklet process on the media/sheet, except for
positioning that compensates for finishing options, for example, Tray alignment.
The printer driver has the following layout modes:
Normal is used for printing standard documents, from 1 to 16 document pages per sheet. (See Normal layout
options on page 71.)
Gangup is used for speed printing imposition modes. (See Gangup layout options on page 73.)
Booklet is used for printing documents in booklet layout. (See Booklet options in the printer driver and Job
Properties on page 74.)
Impose is used for imposition layouts for custom printing, binding, and trimming. (See Impose layout options on
page 77.)
