Note: The Fiery ES supports printing in the IPv6 environment on Windows operating systems. For information
about supported operating systems, see Configuration and Setup.
15 Click Apply in the Fiery ES Properties dialog box, and then click OK.
Complete IPP connections on Windows client computers
With Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), print jobs are sent to the Fiery ES over the Internet from Windows
computers.
Before you begin, perform the following tasks:
•
Make sure that the Fiery ES is configured for TCP/IP printing and IPP printing. (See Command WorkStation
Help.)
•
Specify the printing destination on your computer.
IPP over SSL connections is supported.
Note: Using IPP over SSL connection requires certificates on Windows operating systems. For information about
supported operating systems and on certificate creation, see Configuration and Setup. You can manage certificates
from Configure. (See Command WorkStation Help.)

Navigate to the devices and printers on your network.
The printers are displayed in the Devices and Printers (or Printers and Faxes or Printers) folder.

To add a printer, do one of the following:
• Click Add a printer, and then select Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer or Add a network printer.
• Double-click the Add Printer icon, click Next, and then select Network printer and click Next.

To search for a printer on the network, do one of the following:
•
Windows 10/Server 2016: If the printer search takes a long time, click The printer that I want isn’t listed.
•
Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2: If the printer search takes a long time, click Stop, and then click The printer that I
want isn’t listed.
•
Windows 7/Server 2008 R2: If the printer search takes a long time, click Stop, and then click The printer that I
want isn’t listed.
