PROFIBUS Profile GSD file:
The function scope of the profile GSD file is defined by the PROFIBUS Profile Specification
3.0. The function scope is restricted compared to the manufacturer-specific GSD file
(complete device functionality). However, similar devices from different manufacturers can
be interchanged with the profile GSD file without the need to reconfigure
(interchangeability).

Promag 33 GSD file:
Promag 33 with Profile Version 2.0 is the precursor to the Promag 53.
If Promag 33 is already being operated in the system and the measuring device has to be
replaced, Promag 53 can be used as a replacement device without having to reconfigure the
PROFIBUS DP network.
