5.2 Local display
5.2.1 Display and operating elements
The local display enables you to read all important parameters directly at the measuring
point and configure the device using the "Quick Setup" or the function matrix.
The display consists of four lines; this is where measured values and/or status variables
(direction of flow, empty pipe, bar graph, etc.) are displayed. You can change the assignment
of display lines to different variables to suit your needs and preferences ( see the
"Description of Device Functions" manual).

1 Liquid crystal display
The backlit, four-line liquid crystal display shows measured values, dialog texts, fault messages and notice messages. The
display as it appears when normal measuring is in progress is known as the HOME position (operating mode).

 Direct access to totalizer values and actual values of inputs/outputs
– Enter numerical values, select parameters
– Select different blocks, groups and function groups within the function matrix
Press the
X
keys simultaneously to trigger the following functions:
– Exit the function matrix step by step
 HOME position
– Press and hold down
X
keys for longer than 3 seconds  Return directly to the HOME position
– Cancel data entry
