Note!
The measured variables for the additional "batching" software are available only when they
are installed in the measuring device. If the measured variable is selected even if the
additional software is not installed, the value "0" is transmitted to the PROFIBUS master
(Class 1) for the measured variable.
Factory setting
TOTAL module
The measuring device has three totalizer function blocks. The totalizer values can be
cyclically transmitted to the PROFIBUS (Class 1) via the TOTAL module (slots 2 to 4). The
totalizer value is represented in the first four bytes in the form of a floating point number in
accordance with the IEEE 754 standard. The fifth byte contains standardized status
information corresponding to the totalizer value.

Input data
Assignment of the measured variables to the TOTAL module
The TOTAL module can transmit different totalizer variables to the PROFIBUS master (Class
1).
The measured variables are assigned to the totalizer function blocks 1 to 3 by means of the
local display or with the aid of an operating program (e.g. FieldCare) in the CHANNEL
function:
