Proline Prosonic Flow P 500 HART Technical data
Endress+Hauser 211
Furthermore the device data can be managed and the network parameters can be
configured.
A device that has a WLAN interface (can be ordered as an option) is required for the
WLAN connection: order code for "Display; operation", option G "4-line, illuminated; touch
control + WLAN". The device acts as an Access Point and enables communication by
computer or a mobile handheld terminal.
Supported functions
Data exchange between the operating unit (such as a notebook, for example,) and
measuring device:
• Upload the configuration from the measuring device (XML format, configuration
backup).
• Save the configuration to the measuring device (XML format, restore configuration).
• Export event list (.csv file)
• Export parameter settings (.csv file or PDF file, document the measuring point
configuration)
• Export the Heartbeat verification report (PDF file, only available with the Heartbeat
Verification → 214 application package)
• Flash firmware version for device firmware upgrade, for example
• Download driver for system integration
• Visualize up to 1000 saved measured values (only available with the Extended
HistoROM application package→ 214)
HistoROM
data management
The measuring device features HistoROM data management. HistoROM data management
comprises both the storage and import/export of key device and process data, making
operation and servicing far more reliable, secure and efficient.
When the device is delivered, the factory settings of the configuration data are stored
as a backup in the device memory. This memory can be overwritten with an updated
data record, for example after commissioning.
Additional information on the data storage concept
There are different types of data storage units in which device data are stored and used by the device:
HistoROM backup T-DAT S-DAT
Available data • Event logbook, e.g. diagnostic
events
• Parameter data record backup
• Device firmware package
• Measured value logging ("Extended
HistoROM" order option)
• Current parameter data record (used by
firmware at run time)
• Indicator (minimum/maximum values)
• Totalizer value
• Sensor data: e.g. measuring point
configuration
• Serial number
• Device configuration (e.g. SW options,
fixed I/O or multi I/O)
