ES910.3-A - User’s Guide 58
ETAS Getting Started
• Connect the PC port of ES910.3-A with the CBE230
cable connection and the CBAE330 adapter cable
with the ETH port of ES720.1 .
Observe the color coding of the plug connectors
which must match the corresponding marking at
the housing.
• Start your application.
Operating an ES910.3-A with Other Devices on a PC
If you want to operate the ES910.3-A with other devices from the ES5xx/ES6xx
line on one PC, consult the ES600 user documentation for details.
To operate an ES910.3-A with other devices of the ES5xx/ES6xx line:
• If you would like to operate the ES910.3-A with sev-
eral devices from the ES5xx-/ES6xx line, connect the
CBE230 Ethernet connection cable (which has to be
purchased separately) to the Ethernet connection
adapter CBAE330.
• Connect the PC port of the ES910.3-A to an ES600
using the cable connection CBE230 and CBAE330
adapter cable.
Note the color coding of the connectors which has
to match up with the corresponding marking on the
housing. For more details, refer to the ES600 user
documentation.
• Launch your application.
The relevant user documentation contains informa-
tion on configuration and data acquisition.
5.5.3 IO Interface (IO)
"Daisy Chain" Operating Mode
The IO interface of ES910.3-A does not supply the daisy chain modules of the
ES4xx/ES63x/ES93x with operating voltage. Connecting these modules to
ES910.3-A is, therefore, done with the CBEP430 or the CBEP4305 Y-cable for
providing the supply voltage of the daisy chain modules (see Fig. 5-9
on page 51).
To wire the first Daisy Chain module with the ES910.3-A and the power
supply
• Connect the combined Ethernet and power supply
cable with the IN socket of the first module of the
module chain.
• Connect the free connector with the IO interface IO
of your ES910.3-A.
• Connect the supply voltage connector of the com-
bined Ethernet and power supply cable with the
desired power supply.
Note the color coding of the connectors.
