Conventions
Various parts of the program are identified in this manual by
the way in which they are written.
[File] [New ...] Menu entries are framed in square brackets, e.g. the com
mand [New project ...] opens a new project in the menu [File].
Cancel" Names of windows, dialogue windows and buttons, e.g.
Message window", Determine
project file", Cancel" as well
as designations e.g. DGPL−PPV−A−KF−B" are represented in
inverted commas.
N010 G00 X250 Programming examples are marked in a different print type,
e.g. N010 G00 X250".
CTRL Names of keys on the PC keyboard are represented in upper
case letters in the text. (e.g. ENTER, CTRL, C, F1, etc.).
CTRL + C Some functions require two
keys to be pressed simulta
neously. Hold e.g. the CTRL key pressed down and press the
C key as well. This is written in the text as CTRL+C.
The left mouse button is always meant if the manual refers to
clicking" or double−clicking". If the right−hand mouse but
ton is to be used,
this will be mentioned in the text.
Many functions in WinPISA can be executed by clicking on a
button in the toolbar. This button will be shown adjacent to
the text (e.g. the Online mode on" button).
A few actions depend on the symbol selected in the project
window. This symbol will be
shown adjacent to the text
(e.g.the Hardware symbol).
