Chapter 10: Image Acquisition
This section details the process of acquiring images using the Digital Detector or free cassette.
Overview
The Acquisition screen (Figure 10-1) is where the exam is set up and exposure details are adjusted. This
screen appears when you click the [START EXAM], [EMERGENCY EXAM], or [CASSETTE EXAM] buttons on
the Worklist or [START EXAM] from the Add Patient screen.
Note: If you clicked the [CASSETTE EXAM] button, the Acquisition screen will present a limited set of
options. Refer to Conduct a Cassette Exam
(p. 10-20) for more information about cassette exams.
