Edit Protocol Database
The Protocol Editor allows you to create custom acquisition protocols. Use this screen to create, edit, or
remove categories, exams, and views.
Note: Names of categories, exams, and views cannot contain spaces. Use underscores ( _ ) to separate
words (for example, “Neck_AP”).
Note: It is recommended that you back up the database to CD before and after custom changes are
made. Refer to Backup Protocol Database to CD
or DVD (p. 15-37) for more information.
Follow this process to access the Protocol Database Editor.
1. From the Worklist, select [UTILITIES].
2. Select Preferences > Protocols.
3. Click [EDIT].
The Exam Menu appears (Figure 15-36).
4. Continue with Add or Edit Category
(p. 15-40), Add or Edit Exam (p. 15-40) or Add or Edit View
(p. 15-41)
