1. Change the technique parameters as appropriate.
CAUTION If no technical factors are present in the system, the default settings are:
– kV = 40
– mA = 10 (fixed setting)
–mAs = .05
– SID = 100cm
–Grid = In
No exposures should be made until the user selects values appropriate for the
patient size.
2. Upon completion for each view, click [NEXT TECH] to adjust techniques for the next configured
patient size.
3. When finished, click [EXAM MENU].
The Exam Menu appears.
4. Click [SAVE].
A message appears: “Changes made to the Protocol Database will be saved.”
5. [RESET] clears all changes to the database since the last time it was saved.
