 Application roller disengaged.
=> Lock application roller into place.
 Toothed belt faulty.
=> Replace toothed belt.
Label web passes through continuously
 Label sensing/scanning misadjusted.
=> Reset the switching point.
 Label sensor defective.
=> Replace label sensor.
 Label sensor dirty.
=> Clean label sensor.
 Too little space between labels.
=> Choose lower speed for label web.
Label web tears
 Backing paper punched.
=> Reduce backing paper tension, reduce pressure of label web brake.
 Label residues clamped beneath sensing/scanning unit.
=> Clean label sensor.
 Label web guide too close to the label.
=> Adjust label web guide to label web width.
 Label web inserted incorrectly.
=> Insert label web according to the description of the particular component.
 Label web tracking.
=> Adjust dispensing system.
Backing paper is not wound up
 Drive belt torn.
=> Replace drive belt of backing paper take-up unit.
