FUNCTIONAL EARTH
TERMINAL
terminal, directly connected to a circuit or to a screening part, that is
intended to be earthed for functional purposes.
NORMAL CONDITION
condition in which all means provided for protection against HAZARDS
are intact.
SINGLE FAULT
CONDITION
condition in which a single means for reducing a RISK is defective or a
single abnormal condition is present.
MAXIMUM MAINS
VOLTAGE
voltage used for test purposes related to the voltage of the SUPPLY
MAINS and connected to certain ME EQUIPMENT parts.
