Notch filter Q value
Notch filter Q value defines the width of filtering frequency. The width of notch varies with the
setting of notch filter Q value. As notch filter Q value increases, the width of filtering frequency
becomes narrower.

Q value and the bandwidth of notch filter are relevant. The formula for calculating the
bandwidth is: Bandwidth (BW) = The frequency of notch filter (fc)/Q value

Example:
The frequency of notch filter is 400. The Q value is 0.5. Then the bandwidth (BW) is
approximately 200 Hz.
