OVERVIEW OF LOADING THE THINPREP

2000 PROCESSOR
The following sections describe in detail the methods for loading the ThinPrep 2000 processor. Before
initiating a run, the following supplies must be loaded into the processor in the order indicated.
• Fixative vial
• ThinPrep Pap test filter and filter cap (filter assembly)
• PreservCyt sample vial
• ThinPrep Slide
The figure below shows the ThinPrep 2000 processor after loading of the supplies is complete.
