ThinPrep 2000 Processor Operator’s Manual
COVERSLIPPING
The use of Permount mounting media has been evaluated and is recommended for use with
ThinPrep slides by Hologic. Since some mounting media cause “floating” of cells to occur on
ThinPrep or conventional slides, each laboratory should evaluate their choice of mounting media to
insure compatibility with ThinPrep slides.
Hologic recommends the use of 24 mm x 30 mm coverslips.
