SPECIMEN PREPARATION PROTOCOLS
The following protocols outline the preferred methods for preparing the different types of speci-
mens. The methods are described in general terms. For more detailed information about each step,
refer to Section D in this Chapter. Section G provides troubleshooting for sample preparation.
