Filter Already Wet
Reason for Message
This message appears when the instrument cannot detect airflow throughout the ThinPrep Pap test
filter prior to contact with the fluid. This is done to ensure that a previously used filter will not con-
taminate another sample.
Possible Causes
• Wet ThinPrep Pap test filter.
• Obstructed ThinPrep Pap test filter membrane.
• System hardware malfunction.
