1. From the ISPF panel, define the following copy groups.
Define a Continuous Access Synchronous Z copy group container (TCCG) between the
primary site and the intermediate site (Continuous Access Synchronous Z timestamp
transfer mode: Enabled, Continuous Access Synchronous Z Consistency Preservation
Function: Use)
To enable the timestamp transfer mode, specify Y for TIMESTAMP in the Copy Group
Attributes For Container (TC) panel.
To use the Continuous Access Synchronous Z Consistency Preservation Function, specify
a consistency group ID in the Setting C/T ID Attributes panel, and then specify Y for
FREEZE SCP in the Copy Group Attributes panel.
Divide the above copy group container into copy groups (defined as TCG1 and TCG2),
each of which is assigned to a storage system (Continuous Access Synchronous Z
timestamp transfer mode: Enabled, Continuous Access Synchronous Z Consistency
Preservation Function: Use).
Define a Continuous Access Journal Z EXCTG (UREX) between the intermediate site and
the remote site.
Divide the above EXCTG into copy groups (defined as URG1 and URG2) each of which
is assigned to a storage system.
2. Transfer the copy group definition file you created in step 1 to the intermediate host and remote
host.
3. Execute the YKMAKE command for the Continuous Access Synchronous Z copy group container
(TCCG) to create a copy pair.
4. Execute the YKEWAIT GOTO(DUPLEX)command to continue monitoring until the status has
changed to DUPLEX.
