Failover
The failover procedure to be performed when the primary site storage system is in a nonvolatile
failure state is the same as the failover procedure to be performed when the primary site storage
system is in a volatile failure state. See “Operating Procedure During a Primary Site Storage System
Failure (Volatile)” (page 401).
Failback
1. Recover the primary site storage system from the failure.
2. Stop operation on the intermediate site.
3. From the primary site, execute the YKRESYNC REVERSE command for the Continuous Access
Synchronous Z copy group container.

• YKRESYNC REVERSE
• YKEWAIT GOTO(DUPLEX)
