If a failure has occurred in the intermediate site storage system, use the Continuous Access
Synchronous Z Consistency Preservation Function to suspend the Continuous Access Synchronous
Z copy pairs. If a script containing the following actions has been executed before the storage
system failure occurs, the processing necessary for failure recovery is automatically executed after
the failure.
For details on the Continuous Access Synchronous Z Consistency Preservation Function, see “The
Continuous Access Synchronous Consistency Preservation Function” (page 78).
1. From the primary site, execute the YKCONMSG command.
Execute the command so that an IEA494I message is detected.
