1. From the primary site, execute the YKFREEZE command for the Continuous Access Synchronous
Z copy group container.

2. From the primary site, execute the YKSUSPND command for the Continuous Access Synchronous
Z copy group container.
• YKSUSPND
3. From the primary site, execute the YKRUN command for the Continuous Access Synchronous
Z copy group container.
You can execute the YKRUN command even before the status of the Continuous Access
Synchronous Z copy pair has changed to SUSPOP.
