Preparing
If a path failure has occurred between the primary site storage system and the intermediate site
storage system, use the Continuous Access Synchronous Z Consistency Preservation Function to
suspend the Continuous Access Synchronous Z copy pair. If a script of the following actions has
been executed before a path failure occurs, the processing necessary for failure recovery is
automatically executed after the failure.

Continuous Access Synchronous Consistency Preservation Function” (page 78).
1. From the primary site, execute the YKCONMSG command.
Execute the command so that an IEA494I message is detected.
