1. From the local site, execute the YKSUSPND FLUSH command for the Continuous Access
Journal Z copy pair between the primary site and the remote site.
• YKQUERY
• YKSUSPEND FLUSH
• YKEWAIT GOTO(SUSPEND)
2. From the local site, execute the YKSUSPND REVERSE command for the Continuous Access
Synchronous Z copy pair.
• YKQUERY
• YKSUSPND REVERSE
• YKEWAIT GOTO(SUSPEND)
Operation at the local site can be started at this point before executing the YKRESYNC
DELTAJNL command in step 4. However, the time it takes for the delta resync pairs between
the local site and the remote site to change to the DUPLEX status after execution of the
YKRESYNC DELTAJNL command increases depending on the amount of update data from
the local site.
3. From the local site, execute the YKRESYNC REVERSE command for the Continuous Access
Synchronous Z copy pair.
