Rackmount rail
Removing a chassis from a rack
To remove a chassis:
1. Power down the server and detach all of the power cords from the power supplies.
2. Disconnect the cabling from the rear side of the chassis.
3. Loosen the thumb screws securing the chassis and pull out the chassis from the rack.
4. Pull the chassis out until the rails lock in place.
5. Press the release latches to unlock the inner and outer rails.
6. Remove the chassis from the rack.
