Installing a 2 LFF HDD assembly
To install a 2 LFF HDD assembly:
1. Power down the server and detach all power cords from the power supplies.
2. Remove the access panel (on page 31).
3. Lift the locking lever and place it on the open position (45°).
4. Align the HDD assembly in the HDD pan. Make sure the guide pins on the HDD pan are inserted into
the slots on the HDD carrier.
5. Lower the locking lever to slide the HDD cage into the HDD pan. The HDD cage is fully seated when
the locking lever is completely lowered in place.
6. Push the locking latches on the HDD assembly to lock the locking lever.
