Alarm group B: Motor abnormality alarm
Motor abnormality occurred.
No. Cause Countermeasure
1 The internal temperature of the motor may be too high. Improve the surrounding environment of the motor so that
the ambient temperature is 40 °C or less.
If the abnormality is resolved upon turning the power back
on after the ambient temperature is lowered, the internal
temperature may have been excessive.
[Countermeasure examples]
Remove the heat source/turn OFF the heat
source/install a fan/install a temperature shield/improve
thermal conductivity of the base/install a heat dissipation
fin, etc.
2 The ELECYLINDER may be being used under conditions
exceeding the specifications described in the catalog.
Check the specification values such as payload,
acceleration/deceleration and speed, and adjust them
appropriately.
3 If this alarm recurs after performing the inspection above
and improving the power supply environment, it is highly
likely that the motor has failed.
Replacement of the motor is required. Customers may not
replace the motor by themselves. Contact IAI.
