About the 3958 AP1 server
This section describes the TS7650 Appliance (3958 AP1) server.
As part of the manufacturing process, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and ProtecTIER
software are preinstalled on the TS7650 Appliance servers. In addition, file systems
and disk repositories are created and configured according to factory specifications.
Server rear view, VTL
When configured for VTL, the 3958 AP1 servers are equipped with:
v two Emulex Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters (HBA)
v two Qlogic Fibre Channel HBAs
v one 1-gigabit (Gb) quad-port Ethernet adapter
v two on-board Ethernet ports
