d. Type the numeral corresponding to Configure external (customer’s
network) IP address and press Enter. The following status messages
display:
Starting Cluster, please wait
Starting cluster [ Done ]
Cluster Started
e. If asked if you would like to stop the VTFD service, type yes and press
Enter.
The following status message displays as the system stops the VTFD
service:
Stopping VTFD [/]
This process might take a few minutes to complete.
When the process completes, the following status message displays:
Stopping VTFD [ Done ]
f. You are then prompted, one at a time, to enter the values listed. At each
prompt, type the new value and then press Enter:
Important: Values set during manufacturing are displayed in [brackets]. If
you are enabling replication, you must change all of the default values to
reflect the configuration specified by the customer. If you are not enabling
replication, proceed to step 3 on page 106.

v Customer Network netmask
v Customer Network default gateway
Note: The values that were assigned to the server during manufacturing
appear in brackets after each prompt. For example: Customer Network netmask:
[255.255.255.0]
After you enter the host name, the system automatically starts the network
configuration process. A message similar to the following example is
displayed:
Configuring network [ Done ]
Updated network configuration successfully
update updateNetwork ended successfully
The system automatically restarts the VTFD service, and you are returned to
the command prompt.
