When the Quickhitch tilt spool 9C is selected to ‘dump’, oil
is directed from the loader valve 9 to the head side of the
tilt ram 5. The oil also enters port ‘D’ on the self level valve
4 but is blocked by the lift check 4e. Flow from the rod side
of the tilt ram enters port ‘C’ on the self level valve but is
blocked by the unloading spool 4d. The flow is directed
back to the loader valve 9 and returns to tank.

When the Quickhitch tilt spool 9C is selected to ‘crowd’, oil
flow is directed to the rod side of the tilt ram 5. Flow also
enters port ‘C’ on the self level valve 4 but is blocked by the
unloading spool 4d. Oil returning from the head side of the
tilt ram is directed back to the loader valve 9 and returns to
tank. Oil flow from the head side also enters port ‘D’ on the
self level valve but is blocked by the lift check 4e.
