Engine Cover
Opening and Closing
Access to the engine compartment is provided by a hinged
top cover and a removable rear panel.
!MWARNING
The engine has exposed rotating parts. Switch OFF the
engine before working in the engine compartment. Do
not use the machine with the engine cover open.

Opening
1 Stop the engine. Remove the starter key.
2 Unlock handle with the key provided and turn the
handle to release the top cover.
3 Raise the top cover and support with stay B.

Closing
1 Release stay B and lower the top cover.
2 Turn the handle to secure the top cover. Lock the
handle and remove the key.
Rear Panel
Removing the Panel
1 Stop the engine.
2 Open the top cover.
3 Remove setscrews D.
4 Lift the panel away from the machine.

Refitting the Panel
1 Locate the lower edge of the panel on the machine,
swing the panel up and secure with setscrews D.
