Cleaning the Cab Interior
Because the machine chassis is of sheet steel
construction special provision is made for cleaning out the
cab. At the rear of the footwell is a blanking plate A which
can be removed for cleaning purposes.
To clean the cab proceed as follows:
1 Lower the loader arm to its lowest position with a
shovel fitted.
2 Operate the shovel control lever as if to tip the shovel
for unloading. This action will raise the front of the
machine off the ground.
3 Stop the engine and remove the starter key.
4 Remove blanking plate A at the rear of the footwell to
allow water to escape.
5 Hose out the machine floor taking care not to get
water into the electrical circuits.
Note: Hose pressure should not be too high.
6 Take whatever steps are necessary to get rid of any
dirt and debris. Get rid of as much water as possible
by giving the chassis time to drain and by drying out
with cloths.
7 Once the chassis is dry, re-secure the blanking plate.
8 Start the engine and crowd the shovel to lower the
machine to the ground.
