Signal from alternator W terminal absent
or incorrect.
Check alternator drive belt tension and
condition.
Check wiring from terminal W on alternator
to ECU 4 (wire no. 412).
Check for engine speed signal at W
connection on alternator, using frequency
setting on Fluke meter. Readings should
be 400 Hz at 1400 rev/min and 520 Hz at
1800 rev/min.
2 Warning light flashes Blink
Code 2 K

Codes ( T E-50).

Sensitivity control F not working. Check wiring to sensitivity control (wire
numbers 144B, 509 and 600AH).
3 Warning light flashes Blink

Dump valve solenoid short circuit Disconnect plug from solenoid H K

the solenoid. If blink code 3 remains with
solenoid disconnected, check for short
circuit in wiring from ECU 4 to dump valve.
Wire numbers are 980 (feed) and 600AG

Make sure all no moisture has entered the
harnesses and that all blanking and linking
plugs are fitted correctly K Calibration

Battery feed, wire number 144C (pin 12).
Check for 12V supply with ignition
switched on.
