Idler Wheels and Rollers
Rear Idler Wheel

Renew all seals and ‘O’ rings. When fitting metal face seals
6 push the inner ring into the idler wheel bore on both sides
and the outer ring into the bore in item 4 on both sides.
Coat the metal face with oil before assembly.
Make sure that circlip 1 fits securely in the groove of shaft
2.
Idler wheel end float should be 0.2 - 1.2 mm (0.008 - 0.047
in).
Fill with 57cc of EP60W/90 oil though the plug hole. Coat
threads of plug 8 with JCB Threadlocker & Sealer before
fitting.
