1. With the machine in the stowed position, and the
battery door open remove the old pothole switch.
2. Mount the new limit switch and harness to crank
with the washer placed behind the switch.
3. Adjust the switch by inserting an 1/8" shim between
the link and the switch plunger.
4. Push the switch to fully depress the plunger and
tighten the switch screws.
5. Repeat this procedure on the opposite side.
6. Raise and lower the machine from the ground con-
trol several times to ensure that the switch is func-
tioning properly.
NOTE: From the platform, raise and lower the machine and
check that the switch is operating properly by cutting
back to elevated speed when the pothole is
deployed. Drive will be cutout if pothole is not set.
