Danger Target Alarm: CPA ／ TCPA
CAUTION
Since an error may be included in an alarm according to the plotting status, the operator himself must
finally judge whether evacuation is necessary or not.
This system displays targets in two levels, safe and danger ships, according to the hazard degree. Since the
hazard degree can be checked at a glance on the screen, the operator can easily judge to which target he must
pay attention.
The classification and contents of the alarms are as follows:
Dangerous Target Alarm

Safety target Symbol color : (Not display) (OFF) • 0 > TCPA
White • TCPA > MIN TCPA
Beeping • CPA ≤ MIN CPA,
Dangerous target Symbol color :Red CPA/TCPA

Resettable * 0 ≤ TCPA ≤ MIN TCPA

* Pressing the
ACK
key stops an alarm sound and blinking.
