tional part of the DU 3xx/x.
Information
The operating system and the firmware are stored on the CFast card. It can
not be used as an exchangeable disk.
3.6.1 Proper handling of flash storage media
Improper insertion can cause damage to the contact pins.
Do not use force when inserting the storage media into the slot. It is con-
structed so that it can only be inserted in one direction and it should slide
into the slot easily with little force.
The flash storage media:
should be kept away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight,
should be protected against static electricity,
should not be dropped or bent,
should not be removed or the device switched off while the card is being
written to.
3.6.2 CFast card
A CFast card can be inserted in and removed at the top side of the CPU
module (no tool required). It is not allowed to replace the CFast card during
operation.
The CFast slot is located underneath the cover on the top of the module.
