6.4.3 Cable and plug specification

6.5 EtherCAT interface
The EtherCAT interface (X40A and X40B) is located on the front side of the
module directly below the USB0 port and is used for communication in real
time operation. In case of using the interface for connecting drives and en-
coders the axis module D3-DA 3xx/x must be connected to the top socket
X40A and the SMM 3xx/x must be connected to the bottom socket X40B, or
else the correct cyclic times cannot be met.
Autocrossing is supported.
