10 Maintenance
WARNING!
In case of maintenance work the device must be disconnected from the sup-
ply to avoid damage to persons and damage to the module.
If there are more voltage supplies in the system all of them must be pow-
ered off, so it can be guaranteed that all inputs (and eventually also relays
outputs) of the safety control are de-energized.
Information about executing a firmware update of the CPU module can be
found in the system manual.
Repair work on the device is not permitted, the device must be replaced
completely and the defective device must be sent to KEBA.
Only for D3-DU 3x5/x
Information
Unallowed manipulation of the integrated safety control will result in loss of
safety accreditation.
Changes of the firmware of the integrated safety control (firmware update)
are only allowed by the manufacturer.
10.1 Battery
10.1.1 Battery type and service life
Battery type: CR2032 (Lithium-Mn, 3 V/220 mAh)
Service life: min. 3 years, typ. 5 years
10.1.2 Change battery
WARNING!
Hazard due to electrical shock!
If a D3-DP 3xx/x is connected, it is not allowed to open the cover flip of the
power supply module.
