One-Click Automatic Measurement
It is possible to create a measurement template and use it to repeat a single measurement with a single click.
1 Click [Measure] from the VHX MENU and click
[1 click measure].
This brings up the one-click automatic measurement
settings dialog in the operation area.
2 Click [Create New].
The [Create a measurement template] dialog box
appears.
3 Click the icon for the desired measurement.
4 Specify the measurement points in the observation
window and set the measurement object.
The measurement result is then displayed. A maximum
of 99 measurement ob jects can be set within a single
template.
Creating a New Template
Only templates with the normal recording size
(1600 x 1200) can be created.
• The measurement procedure is the same
as described in "Main Measurements"
(Page 9-11).
•[Arc R] is equivalent to [Radius]. It measures
the radius of an arc that passes through
three specified points. This can be used to
measure the radius of an angle when no
complete circles are present on the screen.
• [Edge Width] is equivalent to [2 Points]. It
measures the distance between two
specified vertices.
• When the [Edge detection] checkbox is
selected, edges of the object are extracted
and an appropriate measurement line is
automatically generated.

and colors within images, refer to "Display
Settings" (Page 9-22).
