Recording (Saving) Images
Rec Settings
Under the record settings, you can view recorded image size, automatic saving features and timer-recording settings.
Select the resolution to use for recording images. Images
can be recorded in higher picture quality than normal
resolution by using the Pixel Shift function.
1 Click [Rec Settings] from the VHX MENU and click
[Rec size].
This brings up the [Rec Settings] menu in the operation
area.
2 Specify the recording settings as needed.
The image size selected for recording is shown in the
information view.
Setting the Recording Size
With camera type VHX-5020, only normal
(1600x1200) can be selected.
Rec size, resolution, pixels
• Normal [1600 x 1200]
Normal recording mode. Records without
using the Pixel Shift function.
• 3CCD [1600 x 1200]
This mode provides good color
reproduction. Records using the 3CCD
mode.
• High Definition [3200 x 2400]
High resolution mode. Captures image in
Super Fine [4800 x 3600] mode and
records the data in reduced size.
• Super Fine [4800 x 3600]
High resolution mode. Records using 9
times the number of pixels used in normal
mode. The CCD shifts three times vertically
and horizontally between each pixel.
• 54 Mega Pixel [4800 x 3600]
This mode offers the best resolution and
color reproduction. Images are recorded
using the Pixel Shift function and the 3CCD
mode. This mode offers high resolution with
good color reproduction.
• Non-standard size (1600 x 1200) options
• Save at Current Size
Saves images with their original resolution.
• Reduce and Save
Saves whole images in reduced resolution.
Select reduction ratio (50%/25%/12.5%)
from the dropdown list.
• Save Displayed Image
Saves the image displayed on the
observation window as it is.
The resolution is 1600×1200.
