2.IfthecomputenodeisinstalledinaLenovoThinkServern400EnclosureType5495,removeit(see
“Removingacomputenodefromachassis”onpage77forinstructions).
3.Carefullylaythecomputenodeonaflat,static-protectivesurface,orientingthecomputenodewith
thebezelpointingtowardyou.
Thefollowingnotesdescribeinformationthatyoumustconsiderwhenreplacingthebattery.
•Lenovohasdesignedthisproductwithyoursafetyinmind.Thelithiumbatterymustbehandledcorrectly
toavoidpossibledanger.Ifyoureplacethebattery,youmustadheretothefollowinginstructions.
•Ifyoureplacetheoriginallithiumbatterywithaheavy-metalbatteryorabatterywithheavy-metal
components,beawareofthefollowingenvironmentalconsideration.Batteriesandaccumulatorsthat
containheavymetalsmustnotbedisposedofwithnormaldomesticwaste.Theywillbetakenback
freeofchargebythemanufacturer,distributor,orrepresentative,toberecycledordisposedofina
propermanner.
