whentheTMMdetectsanoperating-systemhangcondition.Asystemadministratorcanusetheblue-screen
capturetoassistindeterminingthecauseofthehangcondition.

TologontotheTMMwebinterface,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Onasystemthatisconnectedtotheserver,openawebbrowser.IntheAddressorURLfield,
typetheIPaddressorhostnameoftheTMMtowhichyouwanttoconnect.
Note:IfyouareloggingontotheTMMforthefirsttimeafterinstallation,theTMMdefaultsto
DHCP.TheTMMnetworkaccesstagprovidesthedefaulthostnameoftheTMManddoesnot
requireyoutostarttheserver.
Step2.OntheLoginpage,typetheusernameandpassword.IfyouareusingtheTMMforthefirsttime,
youcanobtaintheusernameandpasswordfromyoursystemadministrator.Allloginattemptsare
documentedinthesystem-eventlog.
Note:TheTMMissetinitiallywithusernameofUSERIDandpasswordofPASSW0RD(witha
zero,nottheletterO).You’dhaveread/writeaccess,andmustchangethedefaultpasswordwhen
youloginforthefirsttime.
Step3.ClickLogintostartthesession.TheSystemStatusandHealthpageprovidesaquickview
ofthesystemstatus.
Note:IfyouboottotheoperatingsystemwhileintheTMMGUIandthemessage“BootingOSorin
unsupportedOS”isdisplayedunderSystemStatus➙SystemState,disableWindows2008or2012
firewallortypethefollowingcommandintheWindows2008or2012console.Thismightalsoaffect
blue-screencapturefeatures.

Bydefault,theicmppacketisblockedbyWindowsfirewall.TheTMMGUIwillthenchangeto“OSbooted”
statusafteryouchangethesettingasindicatedaboveinboththeWebandCLIinterfaces.
