2.Ifthecomputenodeisoperating,shutdowntheoperatingsystem.
3.Pressthepowerbuttontoturnoffthecomputenode(see“Turningofftheserver”onpage29for
moreinformation).
4.Recordtheserialnumberforeachnodebay.
Toremovethecomputenodefromachassis,completethefollowingsteps:

toreconfigurethecomputenode.
Step2.Pullthecomputenodeoutofthenodebay.
Step3.Installeitheranodebayfilleroranothercomputenodeinthenodebay.
Ifyouareinstructedtoreturnthecomputenode,followallpackaginginstructions,anduseanypackaging
materialsforshippingthataresuppliedtoyou.
