Beforeyoucall,makesurethatyouhavetakenthesestepstotrytosolvetheproblemyourself.
IfyoubelievethatyourequirewarrantyserviceforyourLenovoproduct,theservicetechnicianswillbeable
toassistyoumoreefficientlyifyoupreparebeforeyoucall.
•Checkallcablestomakesurethattheyareconnected.
•Checkthepowerswitchestomakesurethatthesystemandanyoptionaldevicesareturnedon.
•Checkforupdatedsoftware,firmware,andoperating-systemdevicedriversforyourLenovoproduct.The
LenovoWarrantytermsandconditionsstatethatyou,theowneroftheLenovoproduct,areresponsible
formaintainingandupdatingallsoftwareandfirmwarefortheproduct(unlessitiscoveredbyan
additionalmaintenancecontract).Yourservicetechnicianwillrequestthatyouupgradeyoursoftwareand
firmwareiftheproblemhasadocumentedsolutionwithinasoftwareupgrade.
