2.Tomaintainpropersystemcooling,donotoperatetheLenovoThinkServern400Enclosure
Type5495chassiswithoutacomputenode,ornodebayfillerineachnodebay.
Step2.Installtheairbaffleproperlyinthepositionbeforeslidingthecomputenode.
Step3.Slidethecomputenodeintothenodebayuntilitstops.
Note:Thetimerequiredforacomputenodetoinitializevariesbysystemconfiguration.Thepower
LEDflashesrapidly;thepowerbuttononthecomputenodedoesnotresponduntilthepowerLED
flashesslowly,indicatingthattheinitializationprocessiscomplete.
Step4.Turnonthecomputenode(see“Turningontheserver”onpage29forinstructions).
Step5.MakesurethatthepowerLEDonthecomputenodecontrolpanelislitcontinuously,indicating
thatthecomputenodeisreceivingpowerandisturnedon.
Step6.Ifyouhaveothercomputenodestoinstall,dosonow.
