administratorpasswordhasaccesstothefullSetuputilitymenu;thesystemadministratorcangivetheuser
authoritytoset,change,anddeletethepower-onpassword.Auserwhotypesthepower-onpasswordhas

Userpassword
Ifauserpasswordisset,whenyouturnontheserver,youmusttypetheuserpasswordtocompletethe
systemstartup.Youcanuseanycombinationof6-20printableASCIIcharactersforthepassword.
Whenauserpasswordisset,youcanenabletheUnattendedStartmode,inwhichthekeyboardand
mouseremainlockedbuttheoperatingsystemcanstart.Youcanunlockthekeyboardandmouseby
typingtheuserpassword.
Ifyouforgettheuserpassword,youcanregainaccesstotheserverinanyofthefollowingways:
•Ifanadministratorpasswordisset,typetheadministratorpasswordatthepasswordprompt.Startthe
Setuputilityandresettheuserpassword.
Attention:Ifyousetanadministratorpasswordandthenforgetit,thereisnowaytochange,override,or
removeit.Youmustreplacethesystemboard.
•Removethebatteryfromtheserver,wait30seconds,andthenreinstallit.
