IftheserverisnothungandtheTMMisconnectedtoanetwork,methodsareavailableforyoutoviewone
ormoreeventlogswithouthavingtorestarttheserver.
IfIPMItoolisinstalledintheserver,youcanuseittoviewthesystem-eventlog.Mostrecentversionsofthe
LinuxoperatingsystemcomewithacurrentversionofIPMItool.ForanoverviewofIPMI,gotoblueprints
andclickUsingIntelligentPlatformManagementInterface(IPMI)onLenovoLinuxplatforms.
YoucanviewtheTMMeventlogthroughtheEventLoglinkintheTMMwebinterface.Formoreinformation,
see“Loggingontothewebinterface”onpage40.
Thefollowingtabledescribesthemethodsthatyoucanusetoviewtheeventlogs,dependingonthe
conditionoftheserver.Thefirstthreeconditionsgenerallydonotrequirethatyourestarttheserver.
